23 of April Children Festival

                                                                        

    Every nation has important days and  dates in its history.These days  are the milestones that connect the nations past to their future .Ninety-theree years ago on the 23 April 1920 The Grand National Assembly was officially introduced and  modern Turkey was born. The Great  leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk *dedicated 23 April to the  future of the country-to its children .We celebrate this day as the National   *Sovereignty  and Children’s  Day .

This year we are celebrating the 93 Anniversary of  this great day. People  around the world started to celebrate this day in 1979

Each year, throughout the festival , different colours , cultures , music and lives come together: the children build lasting friendships  and understanding by presenting pieces from their culture.

Children are the hop efor the future. HAPPY 23 APRIL CHILDIREN’S DAY

 Atatürk said :Young ladies, young gentlemen! All of you are the rose ,the star and the light of the brigth future. You are the ones who  will be overwhelmed by the genuine light of the country .Think of how important and valuble you are and work accordingly. We are expecting many things from you. ‘’

I sang a song

2) What do you think when it is said april 23 ? Why do those thoughts come to your mind ?

I think game and fun . Because we do those.

3) Did any foreigner visit your home on. April 23?

No they not come

4) What is the importance of april 23?

Being a children holiday

5) What do they do on april 23 at the school ?

We participate ceremonies. We dance.

6) What do people do on april 23 on streets?

We play games we ride bicycles.

7) Do foreign countries celebrate april 23 ?

Not they don’t

8) Do you know what people do an april 23 in the past? If you know, what are they?
